Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
This policy explains what personal information Aethelon Collective, LLC ("Aethelon Collective", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers this website and our software products.
1. Who we are
Aethelon Collective, LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at tc@aetheloncollective.com.
2. Our general position
We collect as little as possible. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not build advertising profiles. We do not use behavioural tracking or advertising cookies on this website.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us directly
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and whatever you choose to write. We keep that correspondence so we can answer you and refer back to it if you write again about the same matter.
If you ask to be notified about a product release, we keep your email address for that purpose until you ask us to remove it.
3.2 Website hosting information
This website is served by Netlify, Inc., which processes standard server request information on our behalf, including IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp. This is used for delivering the site and for security and aggregate traffic measurement. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser's request to that service is subject to Google's own privacy practices.
3.3 Our software
Our audio plugins are offline software. They do not require an internet connection to operate, do not transmit your audio, your projects, your presets or your usage back to us, and contain no analytics or telemetry. Files you create with them stay on your computer.
If a future version introduces a feature that requires network communication — for example licence activation or an update check — that feature will be described here before it ships, and we will state what is transmitted.
3.4 Purchases
We do not currently sell products directly through this website. When we begin selling, payments will be handled by a third-party merchant of record which acts as the seller and processes payment information. We will not receive or store your full payment card details. This policy will be updated with the details of that provider before any sale takes place.
4. Why we process your information
- To answer your enquiries and provide technical support — because you have asked us to.
- To send you a notification you have specifically requested — on the basis of your consent, withdrawable at any time.
- To operate and secure this website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running our business.
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations.
5. How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for supporting you, generally no more than three years after our last exchange. Notification list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for removal. Records we are legally required to retain are kept for the period the law requires.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf in order to run the business, and only to the extent necessary. Currently this means our website host and our email provider. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent you have previously given. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR respectively; residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these, write to tc@aetheloncollective.com. We will respond within thirty days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.
9. Children
Our products and this website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
